Paranormal Experiances

I guess I forgot to mention something about myself in my previous post... I absolutely LOVE watching shows about ghost hunting. I believe in ghost, but I'm definitely a sceptic. If I hear "footsteps" in the middle of the night, I'm level headed enough to realize that its just the wood settling, you know what I mean? Anyways, I have NEVER had a paranormal experience of any sort... until last night.

Before I get started, I know that some of you reading this are going to think that I'm being over dramatic, or just think that I'm making some of this up for the sake of a good story, but I assure you that everything that I'm about to write I honestly believe was happening for real. Also, I'm not naming any of my friends for their own privacy reasons.

My night started with two of my friends coming up to the restaurant that I work at to see me. I knew that we were planning on busting out the Ouija later that night, so I, who had never even touched a Ouija board before, was asking them all sorts of questions about it. I was sceptical. Honestly, how am I suppose to truly believe that this little piece of card board made by some Johnson & Johnson-esque company is really used for communicating with spirits? Anywho, they finished eating and decided it to head on home and let me finish up closing. They paid, we said good bye, blah blah blah.

Fast forward about two hours.

Because I was new at this whole Ouija thing, I was elected to go first along with another girl. I wasn't really comfortable speaking, so I let my partner do all of the talking. Not surprisingly, nothing happened... we tried several times and nothing happened. Still a sceptic.

Another set of people tried... nothing happened.

And another set of people tried... and shit started happening.
It was a newbie like me and a well seasoned ouijier... yeah, it's a word. Even if I just made it up.
Anyways, they had a twenty minute conversation with what we believe is an woman named "Su," or at least that is what we called her. She was 53 and had 5 grandchildren.

While watching something happen for my friends was exciting, I still didn't believe 100%. I wanted to experience it.

So I took a seat and decided that I wanted to talk aloud.

Me: Is there anyone that would like to speak with us tonight?
Board" Yes
Me: (heart is in my throat at this point, holy mother of god, it moved and my buddy wasn't the one moving it) Would you mind giving us your name so we know who we are talking to?
Board: P.... E.... T.... E
Me: Pete... Is your name Pete?
Pete: Yes.
Me: How old were you at the time of your passing?
Pete: 2.... Yes... 2... 2...
Me: Were you 22?
Pete: Yes.
(at this point, I don't even know what to say. Holy shit, something was making this pointer move and it was neither me or my friend doing so... but Pete broke the silence.(
Pete: H... U... A... B... A... B... A...
Me: Are you having a hard time trying to figure out what you want to say?
Pete: Yes.
Me: Take your time.
Pete: 2... yes... 3... yes... 4...

When they start going through numbers like that it means they want to get out, so we said our good byes.

We all did another few sessions, but the only real success we had was when I was talking... And every time I was talking to Pete. I'll paraphrase for him, because I'm lazy and don't want to type anymore :) The 2nd time I spoke to him, he spelled his name to me and said he wanted to talk to me. However, when I asked if he would speak to my friend, he quickly moved the pointer to good bye... Guess not.
The third and last time I spoke to him, he once again told us his name and said that he ONLY wanted to talk to me. He wanted me to introduce myself to him, so I did, hoping that it would make him a little more conversationable... but all he did was start going through the alphabet, which is just like when they go through numbers, so we said good bye. At this point I started to get a little uneasy, a little queasy and a little sketched out, so I ran to a friend for comfort. Before I could get to my buddy's side, I felt something, some sort of pressure as if a hand were on me wrap around my foot.

That's it... I'm done for the night :)

So in one last attempt to figure out what Pete wanted, two of my friends got on the board and asked for him... nothing. Then one asked, "Do you want to speak to Diamond?" Pete says yes. Then another asks, "Pete, are you good or bad? Move to the sun for good, and moon for bad." Guess where it went? Yup... the moon. "Good bye."

So I was officially freaked the hell out. I was scared to move.

I ended up staying the night... I was scared to be in the dark by myself... Not because I'm afraid of ghost in general, but if you had a spirit that claims to be bad and ONLY wants to talk to you, would you not be flipping your shit?

Even though my first experience with communicating with spirits was a bit on the freaky side, it in no way deterred me from wanting to try it again.

A few pictures were taken, and if I can ever get a hold of them, I'll post them in my next blog... I'm gunna also see if I can put one of the recordings that we took during my last Q&A with Pete up here... After listening to it, I couldn't really hear anything out of the ordinary. But it's always interesting to listen to it.

I'll stop babbling now, you are more than welcome to hit the "next blog" button.

Thanks for reading.

  1. Pretty trippy shit! I did that with a ghost that said she knew me in a past life... Ii can't even imagine talking to someone you don't even know...who you find out is "bad" when I did my ghost hunting back in the day you had to ask them very precise questions to learn things about them like I talked to an elderly black woman in the community center in downtown Woodstock...that was set on fire due to an arsonist and when the police investigated..they found letters and envelopes that spelled out the words "help her"

  2. He never said if he knew me or not. And honestly, I was really careful not to ask any questions with answers that may be upsetting to me or the people around me.

It was a trip, feeling the pointed move on its own blew my mind.
